Chipside Limited is committed to providing products and services to the highest quality, to meet the quality
requirements and policies of our partners and customers and to exceed those quality expectations whenever
possible.
We wish to become fully accredited under the British Standards /ISO standards and will work towards these
standards in everything that we do.
The Board of Directors has appointed Paul Moorby, Managing Director, to regularly review our systems,
products and services to ensure that they continue to develop and improve in line with the best practices in
our industry. Paul is fully empowered to effect changes in our systems, products and services in the light of
receiving any information that demonstrates that we are failing to meet our quality obligations to our partners
and customers.
It is the policy of Chipside Limited to ensure that all employees are regularly reminded about the importance
of quality to our business and we do this through regular staff meetings and by constantly updating our staff
about the views of our partners and customers.
We wish to ensure that we deliver quality systems, products and services by assigning a project manager or
account manager to every customer from the moment that they make an enquiry. The project manager
(or account manager) is instructed to ensure that we have documented and fully understood our customers or
partners requirements prior to providing advice or subsequently providing our products or services.
Wherever possible, it is our policy to provide a fixed price quotation for the product or service under consideration
and in doing so, to make us responsible for fixing quality related issues at our own cost.
It is our policy to maintain a technical support helpdesk database and provide our partners and customers
with a log number as soon as an issue is brought to our attention. In this way, we will identify trends in our
products and services and establish what corrective action to take.
If any employee, customer or partner finds us to be lacking in quality at any time, the issue should be raised
with the relevant project manager in the first instance. Where this does not result in a rapid resolution to the
satisfaction of our customer, partner or employee, the matter should be raised in writing to Paul Moorby,
Managing Director, Chipside Limited, 75 St Austell Way, Churchward Park, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN2 2DG.
(email paul.moorby@chipside.com). Paul will respond in writing within seven days detailing the corrective
action that will be taken to ensure that no repetition occurs.
This policy was last reviewed on 1st September 2004 and will be further reviewed at least annually.
The Directors below affirm their intention to implement the quality policy and procedures.
